PS3 games recording/screenshots possible?

Hey all,

hopefully this is the proper section for this question since it is specifically for the PS3. the mods can move if they feel it would be better someplace else.

Some friends and I have a web site where we do reviews of everything, movies/blurays/videogames/books/etc. (i wont' give the name in case it is against any forum rules to self promote but if you are curious you can pm me) anyway, we are looking to get better than just writen content.

So my question is how do I go about recording things from my PS3? as in getting movie screenshots or gameplay footage? Is it even possible? are there rules against it that I should be aware of? I think we would focus more on game/movie screenshots right now. but maybe shots of gameplay that we can show while we discuss it then cut back to us talking, you know the style. Thats what we'd like to get to.

I know certain games like noby noby and Motorstorm 2, support games screens, but there are only a few right now. I thought I read in another post that you can hook up the PS3 to your computer to record and such no idea how to do that though.
