Default Our HT Gallery..something to be proud of!

Hi all,

Like most of you I love looking at our HT Galleries and always check them out daily. Perhaps for no other reason than simple curiousity and maybe to get an idea here and there.

The galleries run from 1 pic to some with significant photo montages. I have three and they suck, as I'm the world's worst photographer.

Some show off their placement environment, some show the equipment, some show the progression towards their dream, some show a bedroom, some show their office.....and I could go on.

Some are simple, some are a progression, some are just like "Holy sh**! That's just freagin' awesome!".

But you know the one thing they have in common? They are OUR systems! They are built with care. They are an expression of our passion for Home Theatre, and regardless of whether you're a teenager or an older fart like me or are of limited income or swimming in cash......

They ALL deserve a PERFECT 10 rating!

Thank you and yes, their finish is awesome. More than that however, they are extremely warm-sounding. I listen to a lot of jazz, blues, classical and female singers...and they are a very fine match!

It's expensive yes... But the Blu-Ray Disk prices don't help, at all. If you ever add them up, thats where a good portion goes.

Galleries are such wonderful tools. They can and do give lots of inspiration that helps people build better and better theaters.

I agree! but at some point for the most obvious reason my rating for others are honest. It wouldnt be fair if I give a 10 for every systems on this site. I never judge or compare with mine unlike some people. Every home is different as much as everyone have a different taste.

Holy SH*t Russ!...that's some digging you did. You must have a shovel the size of...oh, well, lets not go there. LOL! I honestly and truly didn't remember I ever wrote this, but dang....it's pretty good! It certainly was fun reading through it.

Thanks for the memories, buddy!

The young lady and I discussed it several times over the phone delaying the meeting because of : 1) my unpacking , 2) her cooking something, 3)her cleaning something and so on. So we're gona try again later today. Besides I was really able to put a dent in my mess . Hopefully when I'm done I'll have a space to be proud of like your fortress and the Don's bedroom

At least you've had your priorities straight (Getting that fortress up and running) . Everything else is just icing on the cake. BTW... What happened to your gallery? And I would have loved to see what you were working with when you made that original post

I was fooling around with my gallery on the weekend and I got it all screwed up, so I decided to delete it. I've been going through my pics and reorgazining my PC , as there is no consistancy. I'll repost a gallery soon.

I wasn't working with much back then. I lost all of my equipment years ago and had to start over again in 2007. I'm still nowhere near where I want to be, and I may never get there either. But it's ok...if I only ever get the chance to get my 2CH rig to where I want, then I'll be a very happy person.
