I am not even sure if this makes sense, but here it goes. Ok, it is obvious we all love our Blu-ray movies. I only buy movies that I would have no problem letting a friend pull a random movie off the shelf and I'd be happy watching that movie on any given day. However, some Blu-rays stand out above others. I'm not talking about your favorite movie. I guess I am talking about the opposite of "buyers remorse". After the purchase, even weeks after, I am super happy to own that Blu
My question is:
Which Blu-ray(s) do you own that you are just proud to be the owner of?

Mine, right now, would be "Where The Wild Things Are" and my "Watchmen: Ultimate Cut".

I don't see why pre-orders wouldn't count. It is more about how you feel about it than anything else.

Star Trek, Terminator Salvation, Transformers 1 & 2 (HELL YES I'M PROUD!), Iron Man, and Incredible Hulk. I'm an action movie junkie, and I can watch any of these movies any time of the day, any day of the week. Love em

I am certainly proud to own the Complete Series release! I hope it features some really cool packaging and tons of juicy extras.

Seriously. I am very picky now as I get older and I don't just buy any movie anymore like I did before just because I watched it once and liked it. So all the movies I own are worth watching again, to me, or anyone in my family.

"2001" - just pulling it off the shelf and holding the case improves my mood. I have thought, "after many years and many versions (and alot of money), I am finally holding the ultimate edition."

Like I said, I am talking about the opposite of "buyers remorse". You spent the money and are still super happy about what you got for it - above and beyond the normal purchase. For example, I own "Crank". I like that movie and I am glad I bought it. The same goes for "The Departed". I am happy I have them. However, if I didn't have them it would be ok. Then there are purchases like "Crank 2" or "Dark City" where I bought them, watched them, and I kinda wish I had just rented them. There on my shelf, but that is about it.
Then I have purchases like "Where The Wild Things Are", "Watchmen: The Ultimate Cut", and even the "Superman" movies that I would have gladly paid more money for and I am happy to see them sitting on the shelf.

This. 2001 has always been, if not the first, then one of the first movies I've bought in every format, going back to VHS.

Also, Band of Brothers looks pretty good on my shelf. So does John Adams and Ken Burns' National Parks - America's Best Idea.

When someone takes out Apocalyptco, Life Of Brian, or any of the Pixar movies, it always puts a smile to my face. I can watch any of these at any time.

For me it's the Target special release of Star Trek that came with the Enterprise model that houses the discs. I'm also proud to own Terminator: Salvation.
