Default What 1080p Wall-Mount TV for < $2500?

Plain and simple, what 1080p flat panel do you recommend for less than $2500? I currently have a 42" Panasonic from last year's black friday. I am very eager to upgrade to a full 1080p set, so please flood me with your recommendations. Thanks.

Ben

I love my tv, Sony Bravia KDL-46V3000. It is on Amazon.com right now for $2200. It has the universal wall mount spot in the back too.

I recommend the Samsung 46" (model #: 4671) currently on sale at Fry's regularly priced $3199 but right now on sale for $2399. On Amazon, it is $2299.77 with free shipping!

I just bought the 52" version (model #: 5271) also regularly priced at $4399 for $2999.

Default 52" Samsung is a good buy

You can get a 52" Samsung LCD for as little as $2338 if you check out pricegrabber.com. Search for LN-T5265F. That's the TV I have and it's a wonderful piece of equipment.

I've heard that 1080p is not really noticeable until you get to 50" and larger. Any truth to this?

some, there are a lot of factors going into it but one of the bigger ones is viewing distance. the closer u sit, the more u see. other things play a factor as well. what will ur viewing distance be?

I just bought a samsung 32" LN-T3253H for my bedroom. $899 but only does 1080i, I sit about 6-7 feet away and I would say that it looks like my parents 46" 1080p where we sit about 10-12 feet away. The salesman told me that to see the difference between 1080i and 1080p at that size you would need to sit about 2 feet away.
