Some of those mounts at monoprice are beefy!
Almost engine stand beefy!

Great prices too!

You could try amazon. I got a peerless one from there but returned it because I decided to go the stand route.

How high are you planning to mount the set?
Is there a chance that the set will ever need to be swiveled?

"Just In Case" you could always get one that tilts and swivels.
@ $47 - $78, ya can't really go bad.

Just don't mount it too high. Time and time again I see TVs hung like pictures/paintings about 3 feet from the ceiling.

I dont intend to mount it too high. in fact, it wont have to raise my head one inch to view it where i'll have it mounted. its going to be eye-level

I can't stand when people mount their tv 2 feet from the celling. Also don't get suckered in to buying a brand name mount all your doing is paying for the name. Mono-price has great mounts i use them for installs all the time, and besides it's probably made by the same company who make the brand name more expensive model.

The monoprice mounts are nice, affordable and well made, but they don't have all of the features that a name brand mount would.

For example, I wanted one that had security screws. The monoprice ones don't have that option so I got a Peerless mount.
