‘TMNT’ Writer Will ‘Ink and Bone’

Dimension Films’ demons are finally coming to life.

After years in development (I believe this was a Paramount Vantage project at one time), Evan Daugherty – writer of Snow White And The Huntsman, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and G.I. Joe 3 – has been set by Dimension to make his feature directorial debut on Ink and Bone, says Deadline.

In Ink and Bone, “A female book editor visits the home of a horror writer so she can coax him to complete his novel. She discovers that all of his creations are holding him hostage.”

The Weinstein Company genre arm last year bought the project as a spec script by Zak Olkewicz. Daugherty will do a rewrite before helming it.
