Hey I just recently bought a PS3 for the Blu-ray and was wondering is there a way I can put a quicktime movie in HD into my PS3 and watch it? I've downloaded a HD trailer in 1080p and saved it into my USB device and hooked it up to my PS3 and found it but it keeps saying its like a corrupted file or something so is there anyway I can get it to work?

Yes, a very easy way. Open your file in quicktime. Go to file, export, select Movie to MPEG-4, click options. Under file format, choose MP4 (not ISMA), make sure video and audio are set to "Pass through" if possible. Video should always work with Pass through. If audio does not work, choose "AAC-LC (Music)". Hit okay on everything, then click save. You will end up with a PS3-compliant 1080p mp4 file. Should only take about 15-20 seconds to do if Pass through works, which it does on every 1080p trailer I've tried, and I do this all the time.
