Anyone got word on this Blu release?

I'm told that there are a ridiculous amount of deleted scenes as well. It'd be nice to see those on the DVD and restored as well - if not edited into the movie. Frankly, it'd be nice to see this in Widescreen as the Region 1 DVD was 4:3.

No word yet, but it would be nice for this to be released in OAR instead of crappy fullscreen.

Been waiting on a really cool special edition for DEATH BECOMES HER forever. Esp with the deleted scenes and alt ending.

Would be cool to have it in HD in widescreen and lossless audio

That letter doesn't really mean anything. All it means is that they haven't announced plans to release it – well, duh, if it had been announced, we'd know about it. Death Becomes Her is a fairly well-known, well-liked movie, so I'm hoping for a Blu-ray release this year for its 20th anniversary.

I think this would sell very well. The posters are right, I know many gay people that love this movie. The stage performance, the divaness, the obsessions with beauty, the competitiveness, and best thing is the over-the-top comedy. Perfect casting. I still can always picture the woman just wearing a necklace with the vile on the glass bottom tray with the secret to eternal youth.

Goldie never looked better. I burn for her in this flick. Really a lot of fun.
