Can I ask how the 3D is?
And is the blu-ray a pressed disc or is it a bd-r?
Thank you

Well I haven't been able to watch it yet.
I bought it in a 2 pack with "the goodyears".
It's a BD-R. I didn't know that when I bought it. It didn't say that when I ordered it. A friend of mine has "the goodyears" and it was pressed. I assumed it would be too. Shame on me!

Default Added to Database

I added this to the database.

https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/Aviat...lu-ray/273346/

I previously purchased The Good Years: A Blimpumentary (3D/2D) 2-disc set with bonus (a piece of the actual blimp). Both discs were BD-R's. They played fine for me. Both of these docs are by the same photographer/director/seller.

I take the Region 0 NTSC on the back cover to indicate that it's region free, though I shake my head at the continuing use of outdated DVD terminology to categorise Blu-rays.

Here's a link to another aviation-related 3D BD-R from the Flights in the Cockpit series, there are others but I think this is the only one in 3D: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Take-off-Fr.../dp/B00NFUZ8KO

Thanks for having this added. I got this and a blimp documentary in 3D from eBay and was surprised to find it was added on Blu-ray.com. Thanks for petitioning it be added. I have yet to watch it though. I just thought to myself request to have it added since it would be missing from my collection database and to my surprise here it is!

With regards to your signature...
It’s funny, since I got my projector and put my 50in Samsung 4K in the master bedroom, I’ve been going all in on 3D. Mostly obsessed with buying as many as possible. According to my scans from this site: 228(245). I didn’t really notice that much with 4K. Only really wanted Dolby Atmos which they were anti consumer and don’t want to include on some 3D (whatever reason e.g. higher license fees). Eventually I will re-mux atmos audio from my 4K disc with my 3D.
Anyways, I just wish they didn’t make them so expensive when they were released. Maybe they’ll come back without glasses as people say or VR now available (for one person) lol

Nothing to be ashamed of - it was never pressed. It has always been a BD-R since day 1.

I've waited to long to join this forum, but timing couldn't be better, I just finished volumes 2 and 3 of Aviation in 3D. I focused more on the 'pop out' effect based on past requests. So no when possible, aircraft noses, wings, refueling probes and more will pop out of the tv.

The Aviation in 3D series is also BD-R. Sales of these aren't high enough to justify pressing them (and then the cost would be much higher for an indie company vs. a studio).

Volume 4 being released in August.

The problem I always have when going to https://avgeektv.com/ is the privacy warning that always pops up.
Glad they have volumes 2 & 3 on ebay.

Hi Paul

I did not get that warning when I went to their website last night. Never would have placed the order directly had I received it.

Since you done such a good job adding Vol 1, I bet you would do an even better job adding Vol 2 and Vol 3.

Bizarre - we have a full SSL certificate and more. Not sure why you're getting that warning.

Clear out your cache in your browser. Then revisit the site. It is secure (screenshot attached using Chrome on a Mac).

Additionally, all payments are done direct through PayPal, so you aren't using any payment or login system via the site (it's done direct through PayPal and their security).

Also wondering if someone could let us know what they think of the content on these discs. Thank you in advance!
