I recently received a code from someone and I'd like to redeem it but when I type it into Flixster it says that this code is for a different territory. I asked the guy who gave it to me if he knew which territory it was for and he didn't (he got it from someone else). Is there a way to find out which territory a digital code belongs to, so that I can change my proxy to that territory and redeem it?
And by the way, Vudu says the code is invalid. Is that common?.....for Flixster to tell me the code is for a different territory and Vudu to tell me it's invalid? |

If it's a UK code, try the instructions laid out in this thread: Instructions on how to redeem UK UV codes in the USA And if you're a Vudu user, know that some of those codes won't transfer over to Vudu. This thread will give you an idea of what movies will and what movies won't: List of UK/Ireland UV's which transfer to VUDU |

Thanks for the replies everyone.
Yeah, I tried doing the proxy thing for both UK and Canada, but neither worked. I was just wondering if there was a way (short of trying every country on the planet) to tell which country the code belonged to. Looks like I might be out of luck. By the way, the code is for The Dark Knight. I really want to redeem it obviously, I just don't know which country to set it to. The instructions told me to go to wbdigitalcopy.com/thedarkknight and to follow the instructions, but when I follow the steps, it installs some digital code manager and then tells me my operating system is out of date, and that I need to have Windows XP or later, even though I'm using Windows 8. It's all really bizarre. Last edited by Reeder; 06-10-2014 at 07:19 PM. |

If it happens to be an iTunes code and it hasn't been redeemed, you might be able to get WB to give you a UV copy of The Dark Knight if you message them about not wanting it for iTunes. |

If I remember correctly, the original iTunes digital copy for The Dark Knight required a disc. You won't be able to redeem the code by itself.
Based upon the directions you posted above, it certainly sounds like you have an iTunes code from one of the original releases of the film. |

The new code didn't work in iTunes did it? Probably a long shot that it would but I figured I'd ask to be sure.
