Problem House of 1000 Corpses Menu - Blu-ray Forum

I have all of my updates for my blu-ray player yet the house of 1000 corpses menu is just the spinning wheel of death or whatever but no menu options and the play button on the remote does nothing either. Any help?

none here. I have the latest update for ps3, but have no issues playing House of 1000 Corpses menu.

hmm, im using a samsung player less than 3 months old with current updates. thanks anyway.

Plays fine in my Panny player. Even when I played it long ago without firmware updates. I'd say it's your disc unless someone else with a Samsung player mentions the same issue.

I've played mine many times in the year I've had it and there are 0 issues with it.

Just got HO1C and just 10 minutes in it froze. My LG player would not let me take disc out, shut off or anything! I bought it from amazon, any help would be great!

Many of the early Lionsgate discs have disc rot I believe, which causes them to not play, or freeze at the menu.

Agree, Basic Instinct was the one for me that stopped playing.

Yep. I tried to double feature House of 1000 and Devil's Rejects tonight after picking them up at Wal-Mart discount bin a few years ago, but both discs were toast.

Had the same issues with Reservoir Dogs, Basic Instinct and American Psycho. Oddly my Devil's Rejects standalone and Young Guns blu rays still work just fine and I bought those around the same time in 2007.
