House of 1000 corpses ANY GOOD? - Blu-ray Forum

im a big horror fan and ive never seen house of 1000 corpses. im wondering is it worth owning on blu-ray?? i mean its very cheap at best buy and amazon! and if its good what can you compare it to?????

I like it, but you see will where Rob Zombie got his influences. It's not bad for a first movie. For the price. You can't go wrong.

I enjoyed the movie for what it was...a gory movie with a really weird yet effective visual style.

Rob's best movie has more replay value than Zombie's other movies combined. It also has Dwight from The Office....although I hate that show...

It's good if you like 70s style campy horror. Say Chainsaw Massacre the original one would be what I compare it too.

I enjoy House more than Devils.....

I really like both of them, but they aren't for everyone (but if you like Horror movies, I imagine you'd like it

I liked it, actually. The Devils Rejects is a bit more raw, but this film had its moments of lunacy and I was into it.

I'm a big fan of this movie and for $10 you can't go wrong. I wish we could someday get our hands on the uncut original version of this film. It had to be cut and then re-cut just to achieve an R rating
