Great Announcement and I have it on DVD and it only $1.99 factory sealed and shrinkwrap at the record store around 5 years ago and so good movie and looking forward to get this and one day for me.

Nice. I saw this a few years back, and I really enjoyed it. Nice moody atmosphere in this one.

Yes, yes, yes, I love this movie. It's about time. I toured Jim's real home down in Savannah years back, it's open to the public and tours are available. It was great to see the locations where so many of the scenes were shot.

Excellent news! This is an amazing film; I've never been to Savannah, but the movie seems to be spot-on in it's depiction of the city, culture, and "vibe". Savannah is just as much of a character in the film as John Cusack & Kevin Spacey.

I agree the DVD print leaves a lot to be desired - especially on an HD set.

The book is great, but the movie was a bit disappointing. The shoe-horned in love angle really hurts the film imho.

My family has lived in Savannah for 26 years and the movie does capture a certain segment of the town I will say.

Seen this movie a dozen times for some reason. Was on cable a lot and then was one of my first DVDs. Will get this for sure.

Great film, one of Clint's best as a director. I love how these Warner Archive announcements are made about a month before release date, that way we don't have to wait around for months to be able to buy it.

Nice. I wonder how long before we get the rest of Clint's WB films? I believe now we're just waiting on Bronco Billy, Honkytonk Man, Pink Cadillac, and White Hunter Black Heart, as well as Bird of course. I imagine we'll see 2 or 3 of these over the next year or so, with Bird probably coming in the Archive line. I think Paint Your Wagon is the only other major Clint title we're still waiting on.

Nice! better late then never! It's a great summer movie. Sept will have to do! I almost rented the DVD weeks ago because I was dying to see it again.

I've always liked this movie. Really like the atmosphere and is probably one of the main reasons I've been wanting to visit Savannah.

I agree. I still enjoy it for what it is, and it has an excellent soundtrack.

Warner seem to see large sales potential in Clint-starring titles, so I think if they are to release those four films it will be in the WHV line. Bird, however, will surely be an Archive release when released.

You'd love the tour of Jim's home!!! I highly recommend you visit Savannah some time. Charleston and Savannah are considered "sister cities" down here
