United Kingdom Duck You Sucker!

Does anyone know if Duck You Sucker will ever get a UK release?
It's part of a massive trilogy in which the other two are absolute masterpieces!

Yeah, no sign of a UK release yet, but you can order it from Amazon UK Marketplace for under £12 delivered, I'm sure it's multi-region. Funny, it's been out a week & no reviews yet, very odd.

I'd love to see it released, along with a load of other spaghetti westerns. Seeing as MGM just realised this in the US, maybe we'll see a UK port of it next year? Finger's crossed...also remastered transfers of A Fistful Of Dollars and For A Few Dollars more (my favourite Leone film).

Will surely be cut by BBFC for horsefalls? The US and Italian blu-rays are UK friendly so pick your poison.

I would think it will be 'A Fistful of Dynamite' if it does get released in the UK - same as the the DVD.

Rapta! I couldn't agree more! Not enough Spaghetti Westerns are on Bluray. This is a weird Digipack??

I had the Man with no name trilogy digipack on DVD and the packaging looked amazing! I don't know if the bluray version is the same.

Don't think it is I'm afraid - both the Spaghetti Western Trilogy and The Man With No Name Trilogy releases (only difference is the remastered version of The Good, The Bad & The Ugly) were 3 amarays in a slipbox. Shame really - I have that exact same DVD set.

I'm gonna be patient and hope MGM release remastered versions of the other two I think. As for certainties, we have Day Of Anger coming from Arrow and I hope it means more Spaghetti Westerns from them (or other labels...maybe just MGM who have most of the rights to the good ones). Would love to see Death Rides A Horse, The Great Silence and some others like Navajo Joe, Compańeros, and The Mercenary.

Fingers crossed something happens! I think Arrow will release them, I know they brought out Django, Prepare A Coffin plus they have the Mario Brava horrors so maybe....

I watched the new MGM disc the other night, the presentation of the film looked and sounded wonderful. A lot of people are having issues with edited dialogue, changed music cues ect... but they are very minor and do not spoil the overall enjoyment.

I presume so - if MGM don't have the sense to release it then maybe they'd lease it to one of the independent labels. I'm sure they'll just release it themselves though - I wonder if they'll title it A Fistful Of Dynamite or Duck, You Sucker!...my DVD copy is called A Fistful Of Dynamite.

Don't know whether to import this now or wait for a possible U.K release... I'm going to see Ennio Morricone in concert in December and I'm watching films he composed to get me ready for the occasion. I'll probably stick with My Fistfull of Dynamite DVD for the time being.

I'd recommend waiting a good few months if you already have the DVD, as it's likely to be in the HMV multibuy if and when it does arrive (like most MGM and Fox catalogue titles).

I don't get it.

What's the appeal of a UK release if it's gonna be censored by the bbfc?

Importing an uncut version surely makes much more sense?

You are very lucky to be seeing Ennio Morricone in concert, i would imagine seeing him perform live is an incredible experience.

Gił la Testa is one of my favorite scores of all time. I have watched this clip on YouTube many times and it often reduces me to tears with the sheer brilliance of the performance.

Me too, it's my favourite Morricone score, & the two CD set is a must have.

Or Once Upon A Time in The Revolution, that trilogy set would be an awesome digipack
