Thought I should also add, PS+ offers differ regionally so this might just be SCEA's offering.

It's a good start for PS4, and will only keep getting better. Well worth £40 (even cheaper if you shop around) a year.

And it covers PS3 and Vita, amazing value

Yes it does

So whenever you see a cheap deal on + grab as many as you can afford

Right now I'm stacked until the end of next year

The free 30 day trials that come with some games are great little boosters too

I didn't think these worked if you used one before?

I got an email from SONY with a 30 day PS+ trial but because I've used one before (when PSN went down and they gave us all 30 days free) it wouldn't let me use a new one?!

Thats strange. :/

I had the free trial before I think from Sony. But the code that came in the box with Hitman worked when I entered it on the store.

Codes that are offered free online from sites like IGN or from Sony do have T&C that mean that if you've already been a member of + you can't use the free code.

Yes, it did say that if I've used a free trial before this one wouldn't work! Shame!

I keep an eye on eBay for any good deals but nothing so far!

I suppose £35 isn't bad for 365 days but I'm still a little gutted they've decided to put MP behind a pay wall! I'm certain a few of my friends won't bother with a PS4 due to this!

I'm happy to pay £35 a year as long as I get the service, I expect Sony to equal M$ this time around, if not I will not be happy....but I'll still throw my money at them

I got mine for £29.99 in Tesco end of last year. It was the same time Sony had them on sale on the store too. Just need to wait and hope it drops to that price again, but it's usually a once a year thing. £35 is a good price.

I wonder if every month we'll be getting a full game free such as the stripped down Drive Club, or if it'll be 90% small indie games for the 1st six months or so.

I'm contemplating getting Knack but I have it in my head it's gonna go free within a month or two. On one hand, it's the PS4 dev's own game, so would he put that up for free losing sales? Or would he be willing to show other devs, that he's willing to put his own game up for free, so they should too?

I could see both arguments there. I just REALLY don't wanna drop another $60 on top of the Watch Dogs Bundle, on top of Infamous Second Son, The Order and the PS3 copies of Batman Arkham Origins and Beyond Two Souls if the game will just end up going free a month or two down the road. That shit's like $800 or so right there by itself (not counting extending my PS+).

This is one of the major problems I've had with the NA PSN people waiting until the last possible minute to reveal the following month's PS+ stuff. EU Gets theirs a week or two in advance, but we have to wait. I'm convinced it's to milk extra sales before they give the game away, hoping some poor sap is gonna plunk down $40 or so for a game that they KNOW they're gonna be giving away in a week.

*sigh* Decisions, decisions. lol At least I have some time before the release date.
