you are talking about the current Spring Sale? I checked that out and those numbers are comparable for the same titles that PSN has had over the past several months. Some of those titles were even better on PSN bc of Plus (Titanfall 2 for $24. MKXL, $20 for example). The sales are really the best thing Plus has to offer and they arent something I would knock. Those make up for the lack of interesting free games especially since Im primarily a digital buyer now

99% of the times, 3rd party games get the same sales across all platforms, check price tracking sites and leave your 'emotions' out of it

Nonsense. UHD is about more than resolution. Also you have zero evidence it's a bomb. Early indicators say it's off to a good start. To answer your question, I care! I care a lot and so do many other people.

I prefer PS4. But I more often find better deals on Marketplace. Like the Batman Telltale series season pass which I just bought on XB1 that currently sells for $10 on XBLM. $25 on PSN. And the Dead Rising Triple pack which I just bought for $30 on XBLM that is $60 on PSN. I would rather have had both on PS4, but I would prefer to save money more.

Publisher's dont tend to place sales on both networks at the same time. Both those games are likely to be discounted on PSN in the coming weeks

Both have been that same price on XBLM multiple times in the past few months. PSN has never matched that price on either. The lowest Batman has been on PSN is $18 and the lowest DR 3 pack has been is $48. After seeing them at that price multiple times on XBLM and not seeing anything close on PSN, I finally went XB1.

that's why I said 99% and not 100%, and that goes both ways btw, but in this case, like what havoc said, these deals will most likely come to psn too on a later sale

you're using gold prices against non plus prices, because that's not the lowest they've been on plus (batman $15, Dead rising triple pack $42)

Still cheaper on XBLM. And it is the frequency of sales, too. Again, as someone who puts price over console preference, I routinely find better deals on games I'm interested in on XBLM. I realize Sony is way ahead in sales, both hardware and software-wise. Maybe this makes them feel less of a need to run video game sales.

no, like the pay gap, this is a myth. both stores do sales and in some rare cases, one store gets better deal than the other, doesn't mean that 1 have overall better deals than the other all of the time, both are very comparable

yes you found more deals of the games YOU wanted, which is good for you, but I'm not sure how that translates to ""they don't need to run sales""

why are you ignoring the examples Havok83 posted? Titanfall 2, MKX, Metal Gear Solid V DE, the telltale collection, all got better deals on psn

Not ignoring anything. There are obviously instances of both. But the frequency of larger sales and number of games on sale each week seem to favor XBLM, at least in my recollection. It could just be in relation to my personal tastes. But I have purchased more digitally on my XB1. Although I still buy majority mulitiplatform retail discs on PS4, which is where I have my CoD games, Titanfall 2, Bf1, RE7, etc.

Abzu looks interesting and I'm excited to giving it a try. I've played the 1st episode of Tales from the Borderlands and couldn't get into it. Guess I'm not the biggest fan of the Telltale games. I wasn't a fan of the Walking Dead one either.

I already played Tales From the Borderlands on PS4 and enjoyed it. I'm really excited for Abzu! Laser Disco Defenders is different than I thought, and I got Type:Rider confused with another upcoming indie game about letters fighting other letters (can't remember the name but it looked cool).

Some titles at least worth looking into. I guess that's progress.

So, the first game that has appealed to me for five months and I learn that Europe isn't getting it! Instead of Abzu, we get Alienation.
