Problems with call of duty 4

I,m stuck on level 28 in online mode.I can go over it but when I exit online mode and thego back into it I'm back at lv.8
Any Ideas??????

yeah my friend was having that problem today.... good thing ididnt have any time to waste on it today haha i would be pissed.

So IT is a glitch. I thought I had to go to certain level for a milestone type of thing.

Hey Everyone --

Just wanted to give you a heads up, we're aware of users who it appears your Rank resets. We're looking into it and addressing the issue, however in the meantime if you notice your Rank appears to be less than what it was, then do the following.

Start a Ranked game, Free for all seems to be the best suggestion.

After you've played for just a few seconds (don't have to do anything in the game), then quit out, and your rank should be back to normal.

Thanks again to everyone for the suggestions, keep in mind that we are aware of the issue and this is only a temporary solution until it's fixed.

I have not tried this myself, so I don't know if it works, but according to IW it should.

that's not working right now. i would guess the earliest for a fix on this would be monday sometime, but yeah, it's been going on all weekend.

I know there is a server problem or something because it's been doing that for everyone I know. Basically the CoD4 server is not saving our data. I'm hoping they are fixing it as I type.

well the saving of ranks and challenges completed and stats etc is fixed.... at least it saved mine and my friends from today... but we went back in tonight and it wouldnt let us join our party and kept giving an error.... so i thinkthe server is having another problem.
