Default Call of Duty 4 on my new t.v.

I went and bought a 52"Sony xbr4 and when i play Cod4 it seem to respond slower when I hit the buttons on my controller. I use to play on my old tv (Sharp 46" 1080p) and never had this problem. Any help would be appecaited on how I can get the feel on the game I use to have on my old tv. I have tried with the motion enhancher off and on and still doesnt seem right. Thanks in advance.

you could have a video lag...much that affect the rock band, guitar hero scene. Sadly, I think you might just have to get used to a difference rythm.

sonys LCD response times are more than the sharp which usually have the lowest of all LCD's. my samsung is 8ms, most sharps are 5. it makes a huge difference in COD and especially halo 3. return the XBR and get a plasma or something so that stuff doesnt occur, i know thats what im planning on doing.

there are probably settings for games only. You will have to adjust your settings most likely.

+1, the response times of the Sammy 600 series on up to the 950 are excellent for gaming.

I have the 650 and I notice the video lag. I dont on my Panny though. If all you been gaming on is your Sammy and have no set to compare it to, you probably dont notice the lag, but it is there on the 6 Series

What is the lag are we talking about? Is it something really noticable? I play on my rear projection Sony 42inch, I don't notice it.... :S are all LCDs like this?

i never really noticed anything on my bravia, at least when it came to gaming, the only thing i did notice is that on my old TV the radar was big orange blotches, and with my new one they were a circle with a ring and you could actually see where they were no timing issues at all though. I adapt to lag and lead times pretty quickly though so i may have just not noticed

It's unlikely the display's response time, but more of a signal prosessing lag.
Game Mode(if available) should fix this.

Racing games from my VAIOs to my HDTV via HDMI have no lag.
