Default New Band of Brothers Packaging

I see a new Amazon Pre-Order. Will this be the snap case that all other HBO shows (Rome, Deadwood, Game of Thrones) are going to?

I think the listing might be a mistake. I was aware of Warner repackaging the DVD version, and on the press site, the DVD's UPC links up with this Blu-ray listing. It's described as being a Viva repackage.

VideoETA also lists it as a DVD: http://www.videoeta.myvideostore.com...eoeta&id=53709

edit: BB lists it as a BD so maybe they're repackaging both

I'm waiting for them to give us a better transfer, as the JP one is too expensive.

Every BD release of BoB worldwide has been DNRd. The original JP release from Amuse is the only one that did not.

What do you mean by snap case? It looks like most HBO boxsets are digipaks and the old Band of Brothers case was digipaks too.

The new Game of Thrones S1 & S2 set uses keepcases.

I hope that's the case with this new box set. I much prefer keepcases than digipaks.

i prefer the old sets, like the digibook of rome is one of the nicest looking tv series I own. I hate to say it but to me keep cases look cheap compared to the original releases of HBO shows

Thanks for the heads-up. I have the UK version, checked out the screenshot comparisons, and ordered the Japanese version off of Amazon.jp right away (condition: Chuukouhin - Hijou ni yoi)
