Goodfellas Problem - Blu-ray Forum

Exactly, 1:16:42 until 1:16:48 of the movie I get a line that runs from the top of the screen to the bottom dead center. Does anyone else have this issue or do I need to take this disc back to the store and exchange it?

Are you sure it's not a film scratch? (My copy is 25 hundred miles away from me at the moment so I can't check)

mine does it too & i think it does it on the dvd version too. it's actually quite common.

its part of the film. its on every edition of goodfellas i've ever bought.

Chill out. It's always good to find out if it's a disc error or movie error.

This movie has a damaged master so all versions of this movie has the same scratch on it!

Being that GoodFellas is my favorite movie ever, I am the one who should know this right? Yes I can confirm that line in the print is their on all BDs and on the SE DVDs as well. No biggie. It doesn't ruin the masterpiece in any way, shape, or form.

PS So, eventually, we can expect the Goodfellas Special Edition and one of the features will be...

-Wiseguy Scratch - now the 6 second scratch has been digitally removed and director's commentary on the process of removing the scratch.

well I have watched the movie dozens of times and i havent ever noticed it so I guess I still should care.
