Ghost World anyone? - Blu-ray Forum

I just realized that this movie is still not on Blu Ray, and it was a big selling DVD not to mention it won all kinds of awards. It's also one of my favorite movies of all time. Anyone else wondering why Ghost World is still not on Blu Ray yet? Come to think of it, I haven't heard of 1 single Thora Birch movie that is on Blu Ray what the hell?

i want it too. but its not a bunch of beautiful scenery so it wont benefir much from HD..
question:
thora birch in HD? or
Scarlett johansson HD?

hehe. i think i choose thora.

btw its 2:00 a.m in usa right now thats why no one answered i think.

I hope this comes to blu-ray one day. It's one of my favorite films and Thora Birch is so hot in it. I doubt it will, but you never know.

I have no doubts that it will eventually come to Blu Ray but I am thinking it sure would be a long wait.

And of coarse for me it is all about Thora Birch, she is one of my favorite actresses.

It could be released as a Criterion. There was talk on IMDb about one of Terry Zwigoff's films becoming a Criterion blu-ray and everyone was hoping it would be Ghost World, but it turned out to be Crumb. So maybe in the future Criterion will release GW?

I find this movie deeply heartbreaking, but would snap this up in a second. One of the first movies I bought on DVD as well, if I remember correctly.

This is high on my want list. Also has a great soundtrack.

It is not a mainstream film that is for sure. It did however win some awards too so it worth checking out if you never heard of it. I love it one of my all time favorite movies, one of my first DVD's and I still have that DVD to this day, won't sell for nothing until I have a Blu Ray to replace it with.

The thing is this is one of those either you get it or you don't movies people who get it like it people who don't hate it there aren't any people I met who are in between it is one or the other love it or hate it. At least in my experience.

I want it now. This year is its 10th anniversary. Wish there was a Blu-ray of it coming out.
