I've been a big movie fan for about twenty years and have seen a lot of classic films, but it was only in the past two that I finally caught up with Gone With The Wind, Casablanca and Citizen Kane. Plus, I have still yet to see The Seven Samurai. As for recent "big" movies, I have never seen Armageddon.
So, I'm just curious, are there are any classic films or "must-see" films for movie fans that you haven't gotten around to yet? I realize younger fans might have a bit more catching up to do, but I'm sure there's lots of titles you would consider to be must-see that you haven't seen but would like to eventually. Also, no shaming on this thread, it's not a character flaw if someone hasn't watched The Godfather, The Sound of Music, Lawrence of Arabia, etc. so no snide comments please. |
