Thumbs up Bad Boys (1995) / November 3rd (Remaster? Hopefully!)

Amazon Canada have confirmed that the new Dracula (1992) re-release will be a 4K remaster.http://www.amazon.ca/Stokers-Dracula...051532&sr=1-12

Here's hoping that Sony will give the same treatment to this bad boy (pun intended) too! The current release is five year old and it could use some updating

I hope so. It is the 20th anniversary though, so it could just be a re-release with new extras and a UV copy like they're doing for Jumanji.

I still can't believe it hasn't been released. The movie comes on HBO, Starz, Encore, etc all the time in HD

Yeah I remember someone posted a pic from a vault that had BB2 already done but there were soundtrack rights issues? that kept it from being ever released

Love the franchise and there been talk about a 3rd from Bay. Would be perfect timing for a boxset

Hopefully Bad Boys gets a 4K transfer! It could definitely use it! Also, hopefully this release lights a fire under Sony's butt and get them to release BB ll soon as well.

It'd be nice if they added the extras that are missing from the original release.

I am also with those who want BB2 on Blu! That movie is just completely over-the-top and chaotic fun throughout.

I wouldn't be surprised if we see a lot of films re-released on Blu as studios start to make new 4k masters. It will be their last 1080p money grab before putting those same masters onto the next format.

BBII was one of the films that Sony originally teased on BD when the format was new back around 2007 or so, and here we are in Q3 of 2015 and it still isn't released.

I don't hate the second one but I like the first one so much more. It's one of my favorite movies. My main issue with the second one is that it's overly long. I can watch the first one any time its on during any part of the movie. BBII I need to be in the mood for it. I'd still pick it up if it ever does come out though.

Hopefully this new release of the first one is a remaster because I've been holding off picking it up in hopes one was coming (or a two pack at least)

My main issue with the second one is no Mark Mancina score/theme. I liked BBII ok, but I love Mancina's score for the first movie and thought it added quite a lot.
