Default Awesome...so my tv just quit working.

I haven't even made the first payment on this damn thing and it just quit working.

Anyone know what to expect on returning it to Circuit City? I am thinking I don't want to get the same tv if it's going to be this shitty. Are you able to return it and get a different model or do you have to just exchange it for the same one?

If anyone cares, it's a 37" Toshiba REGZA 720p.

It's frustrating. When I turn the power on, the tv just kinda flashes twice and stays on a black screen. I had it on the input "hdmi 1" for my ps3 when it quit working. It won't let me change the input or anything.

That's what you get with those Toshiba products

J/K, I actually like Toshiba tv's . . . anyway . . . did you try unplugging it and plugging it back in? How long ago did you get it? If it's within 30 days you can return it, exchange it, do whatever you want.

Let me guess. The instant a cable running from your Blu-ray player touched the Toshiba TV.... (Place electrical explosion and blue voltage smoke here)

Yeah, I tried unplugging it several times. I don't know what the frick is wrong with it. I loved the tv up until now. Now I am rather annoyed. Hopefully I can upgrade to a 42-46" without much trouble. I don't mind paying a little extra now.

Or get a more classic TV like mine. PQ is not quite as good but it makes a nice conversation peice when aunt Matilda and uncle Harry come over to play bridge.

Lol. Nice!

I had a console tv my first 4 years of college ( ). We used to stack a smaller tv on top of it when I had roommates. It was great.

I know Hardware problems are frustrating as can be. Just trying to lighten it up a bit.

Here is the TV I used in College. A real gem!

Oh boy, you might have trouble right now with the holiday rush. I have been to C.C. and other stores and there is already lines of people returning things. I guess they figured out that their loved ones already have what they wanted. I wonder how it is for Amazon after Christmas.

I'd be pissed about this too, but the irony in this is just too funny.

Anyways, I'm sure CC will take it back, especially if you have the receipt.

What is the irony? Are Toshiba's generally giant piles of crap?
