Default Reverse censorship?

I was reading an article on the Furious 7 blu ray and it mentions reverse censorship. Amy idea what that is? http://www.movie-censorship.com/news.php?ID=9015

I think it means adding blood and making an UNRATED cut to spike sales

It is just another fad like the unrated crap they try and sell. They want people to think they are getting a version of the film that wouldn't pass the censors but really it is just a version that they never submitted therefore unrated - simple as that. Same here - they are just adding in to make people think it is more violent or whatever but really, it isn't. It is all buzz words designed to fool people and people fall for it.

In the context of the article it means that previous entries in to the Fast & Furious series had scenes added to their PG-13 versions to get a higher rated or Unrated home video release.

"Reverse censorship" would just mean removing censorship that has already taken place and/or adding to that originally censored content.

The Wolverine was much better unrated at least. Some movies do get better when they're expanded or given some more violence. It really depends. Live Free or Die Hard was not improved, in contrast.

Reverse censorship
It's from the Star Trek franchise when they order back the space vehicle that scans stuff.
