Default Sound quality question
Will my older Sony, which is a 5.1 DD and DTS receiver, only has optical and coax inputs. Will I get any noticeable difference in the sound over standard DVD sound? I just got the new Panasonic BD-30.

Also, my TV is a 50" Samsung DLP, 5065W, it only has DVI and component video connections. What are the advantages of one over the other. My TV is 1080i, but I've been told it is native 720p which upscales to 1080i. I would appreciate any insight here, but please lend an explanation, don't just tell me what to do.
