Slip is kinda boring- not sure it's worth it for the extra $9

It's meant to look like a paperback movie tie-in. It is somewhat plain looking but that's how many of those paperbacks looked back then. You'll notice the edges of one side look like pages. I quite like it. In this case, it makes sense. But I wouldn't want all my slips to look like this. It's nice for it to reflect the movie's mood though.

Great to see Racing with the Moon getting a proper release! Such an underrated coming-of-age film with amazing performances from Sean Penn and Nicolas Cage. Fun City Editions usually does solid work with restorations, so I’m hopeful for a good transfer. Anyone know if there’ll be new special features?

I think you'll be happy with it. I watched it last weekend and enjoyed it a lot. It has some light comic relief too. If you buy with the slip, you'll also get the booklet which is only available in this first pressing. The restoration is absolutely superb!

It has audio commentary by the director as well as separate commentary by Bill Ackerman and Marya E. Gates. There's a "making of" featurette that I believe is archival as well as a gallery.
