I have blind buys that are either so bad, Fallen, some that I just haven't wanted to watch or finish them yet, and some that are so slow to start with that I lose interest, Mad Men. I also have only watched a few minutes of Les Cousins. I need to finish that one.

Long list:

[Show spoiler]Zero

(I'd say 60-70% of my collection are blind buys. I can count the ones I regret on one hand, luckily )

Plenty of movies I have yet to watch, but none are blind buys. I generally won't buy a movie I haven't seen.

I've got 4 or 5 flicks that were blind buys that I haven't watched yet; otherwise, I've seen everything I've purchased but haven't yet watched at least once before on DVD or in the cinema.

Usually I only blind-buy a movie if I really like the director, or if it's just downright obvious that it's my sort of film (the latter only really happens with films in the Criterion Collection these days).

I usually find a way to watch a movie to see it and decide if i like it or not, so I can buy it. So I only buy movies I like/love.

Last time I blind bought was Vacancy 2 and Amusement on DVD for $20 each. Both terrible movies. Never again. Pawned them and got ripped off because they only took them for $2 each.

But I will blind-buy Abduction and Footloose whenever they come out. Something tells me I will love them.

Wow! That's a bit much don't you think? I usually only blind buy stuff if its under a certain price range. I mean i'm not gonna spend 25 bucks on a blind buy. 10 usually is my limit.

Do try to start watching it again, it's excellent. I know exactly what you mean. It takes a LONG time to start feeling like something is 'happening', but once it does, you're hooked for good. I'd say the whole first half of season 1 needs a ton of patience to get through, because there's just so much that needs to be developed, so many characters, etc. ......

That's about where I stopped. I'm going to start watching it again after my exams end. I'll have a lot more time to watch and get into it. I may even buy season 4 if the price is right on BF, and return it if I don't wind up liking the show. The consensus is that it is slow, but once it takes off it's worth it.
