Alright so I don't make to many threads around here but I feel this is a good topic that hasn't been brought up. So for the folks who watch a lot of movies a week, maybe even several a day on occasion like myself, do you ever find yourself forgetting a lot of info about certain movies or confusing scenes from one film to the next? I know I do, it is like information overload. Now if I watch a film spaced out from others, maybe just one over the weekend I tend to retain more detail on the film then say if I watch 3 in one sitting. When I do that sometimes I find myself saying now did that happen in that film or was it the other, etc.
Is this even something that concerns you or are you just watching the film to be entertained while it is playing. It just amazes me when I see interviews with film makers and they can remember tremendous amounts of details from all these different pictures. It takes me several viewings to remember details long term other than the basic plot and the fact if I liked it or not. Just curious your guys take on this and if you can retain a lot of long term detailed information about films after only one viewing, especially when you marathon them. |
