Default Terminator 3 True PiP?

I know that the toipic of Terminator 3 has come up and the Sound Quality being horriible but I was wondering if the IME In Movie Experience is true or static. Hairspray was an example of a static PiP track where if you wanted to watch it with the movie it could not be turned on/off you had to watch the whole movie with it. Is this is true IME than this would definately be a pick up just to check it out being that it would be the first to have the IME feature.

Anyone else picking this up? Anyone know details regarding the IME?

I was also wondering if anyone knew the details regarding IME. I assumed that you could watch every special feature with the PiP window EX. watch trailers, deleted scenes, and interviews. The back of T3 is only talking about having the interview with the director while watching the film which makes me think it is a static track. Will IME allow you to see all of the Special features while watching the film in the future (Sunshine) like I thought or will it limit what can be seen while wathching. EX. you can only watch director commentary while watching the film THATS ALL

Thats kind of a let down, I'm trying to find movies that fam members can give me for Xmas but i'm down to new releases due to myself purchasing every blu that has been released that I am interested in. Well looks like I will have to keep on hunting or better yet ask for a BB gift card.

Are people really that interested in PIP? I have plenty of DVD's that have got commentaries and never listened to any of them, as this is basically the same thing I can't see myself watching the entire film with the PIP on (might watch a few minutes of it for the novelty value). I'd be quite happy with just the film on the disc with decent audio tracks and maybe some bloopers or something.

My position on extras have shifted a few times. Yes, I want them. No I don't want them. Yes, I want them on a separate disc, yadda yadda.

Most commentary during the movie is endless prattling as these people don't know what to say. It is like having people talk BS through the movie. SOME of what they say is relevant but most of the time it can put me to sleep.

Director commentary can be good because they are intelligent people. But you really see which actors are educated by the crap some of them say during commentary. It's like listening to a pro footballer on the field.

Learn how to enunciate and stop saying "mines" you morons. You never see THOSE guys become commentators, now do you.

<end rant>

Am I the only one who doesn't care whether an IME track is "true" or not? I think secondary A/V decoders are an HD DVD workaround to a problem that BD doesn't really have (space constraints). When done right, like on Crank, you can switch between the movie and the PiP commentary on the fly. I think the end result is virtually the same as so-called "true" IME.
