I'm not a big romcom fan usually, but as far as the genre goes Nancy Meyers has definitely made some of the better ones. The only film of hers I haven't seen is Something's Gotta Give, and all of the others were really good.

Looks kinda like a DWP sequel without the Dragon lady, which is exactly what I expected.

I thought I commented on this when the thread was first made, but I guess not. While I did watch the original trailer, I don't even need to watch the new UK one to know that I'm watching this. I think I'm going to really like this one.

Looks pretty dated and by the numbers but I will watch anything with De Nero and its nice he is getting a lead role in a big movie.
Hope it is decent and and least slightly enjoyable.

Really excited to see him in Dirty Grandpa or whatever its called where he gets to go R-rated after a string of very safe PG-13 comedies (last vegas, Grudge Match New Years Eve, The Intern)

I do kind of get that Devil Wears Prada vibe from this, probably due to Anne Hathaway. Either way that is a good thing to me. I look forward to it.

I have to be one of the few people left who still likes Anne Hathaway.

Plus, I mean it's Robert DeNiro. The man rarely does wrong in my eyes.

A lot of people turned on her because of how she carried herself during the award season after Les Miserables. Just between people I know she is really divisive among women too.

I enjoyed it, but not as much as I was hoping. I just don't think it was as interesting a movie as it could of been. What I do really like about it is both De Niro and Hathaway give 110%.

Yeah their chemistry carries the movie but the rest of it does fall a bit flat. Still pretty good just for them, though.

Loved this. Just found it to be undeniably adorable.

LOVED DeNiro in this, just a heartwarming presence and his opening scene was just so cute.

also L O V E D Hathaway in this. She has never been more likable and has never shown this many layers in one film for me personally.
