Default The Apartment.

Does anyone know how the picture and sound quality of this film on the UK Blu Ray compares to the US release?

I see they're released by different studios so thought there might be a difference.

Thanks.

Discs are basically identical. Only difference is the UK disc doesn't have international subtitles. The Fox and MGM logos are on both releases.

They are not from different studios. They are both released by MGM (it was originally a United Artists film). Fox only distribute the title so the quality of the U.K., version will be the same.

The UK version has a lower video bitrate than the US version. Still looks fantastic though.

Does the higher bitrate usually translate to a better picture? Or is this not always the case?
