Discs are basically identical. Only difference is the UK disc doesn't have international subtitles. The Fox and MGM logos are on both releases.

They are not from different studios. They are both released by MGM (it was originally a United Artists film). Fox only distribute the title so the quality of the U.K., version will be the same.

The UK version has a lower video bitrate than the US version. Still looks fantastic though.
