Default Hd dvd bulk stack question?

I went into bestbuy yesterday and to the right- their was what had to be a bulk stack of like 100 hd-a3 for 249.99. As I walk through the store they have these things everywhere. My question is, does anyone know that works fo bestbuy are these things selling? From what I could see Id say no. Just wanted some insight, looks like bestbuy bought way too many for the holidays.

I dont know, my store has them also, but my store also has about 200 S300's from Sony in stock. I am anticipating something huge after xmas. Not sure, but I am just expecting it. Our store, thanks to me, sells more S300's than any store in my area, more than 12 each week, thats not including ps3's or other BD players.

Our store only has about 20, they had 35 before black friday. Since then they have had to restock the Samsung 1400 and Sony 300 3 times.

They recieved 120 combined blu stand alone players yesterday in anticipation to this sunday's add which will feature both Samsung and Sony for $299.99

Sanyo's blu is actually selling as good as an Toshiba at that store. I wish Sanyo would advertise that they have a blu player.

On a side note Cris informed me that a few customers had actually asked him if it was true Warner was going blu exclusive. Seems good news spreads fast let's just hope its true.

What's the model number and price of the Sanyo? I couldn't find it on the Best Buy website.

I believe mystiksuicide meant to say Sony, not Sanyo. Sanyo does not even list a blu-ray player on their site.
