Sin City just arrived in the mail - however I am now not sure what version to watch first. Theatrical? Recut? Extended? Unrated? WHOA !!! HELP !!!!!

Liked the Recut but I have to go with the Theatrical Version. Only because I do like the movie as 1 whole movie. On the Recut its just 4 mini movies.

Yeah another vote here for Theatrical. The 'recut' version is a special feature imo.

I found 'Recut & Extended' to be a bit of a snore fest. Plus most of the 20+ mins of extended footage is actually just closing credits. Each chapter has its own closing credits.

This worked so much better as how it was released theatrically. The extended bits are so minimal anyhow. I have to agree with other posters above that the extended was both a snore-fest & should be considered an 'extra'.

Theatrical.

I love the work that Rodriguez put into the film and how he basically rendered 3 entire graphic novels, but the film is much more enjoyable when the 3 stories are spliced together and intersect with each other. I still like having the Unrated version available as a bonus feature.

I don't like how the recut version separates the stories... I quite enjoyed it in its theatrical format.

Hi guys. Bumping this old thread. I haven't watched these movies and ordered recently. So most prefer recut version for the first part but isn't the unrated is the one because it's unrated? Means no censorship and full blood and gore and nudity if any? Kindly advise. Thanks.
