Just return it if it's unopened. Or trade it in at Blockbuster today, they're still giving $10 for it. Or if you bought it from Best Buy or FS, take a printout of the ad and ask for a price adjustment anyways -- they're probably too stupid to figure it out.

hm... I just called 2 blockbusters near me (Richmond Hill Ontario). They will be open tomorrow. But the guy has no idea at all about the sale, and said I must have heard wrong.....

Yes, but the trade-in offer expires soon (website says Jan. 3, newsletter suggests tomorrow). Trade it in and then just stop by for your upgrade when the deal is active. It'll basically cost you the taxes.

I wouldn't be surprised if they used the wrong cover art for Sin City, since they are showing the US 2-disc art, which looks similar to the Canadian 1-disc. It could be argued at the register if it becomes a problem, since it does have a "2-disc" banner.

crazy! i had no idea about this. i think the prices might come into effext jan4th (as thats when out boxing day sale ends and new sales begin) but ill have to look into it. thumbs up to you dblitz for finding out this info early

I went to the store and the employee confirmed that it only starts on Monday, Jan 4 2010. They won't confirm if the Sin City is the Special Edition or not.
