Default Bring on the #$%^ Giants!

As a Seattle Seahawk fan I'm anxiously awaiting the visit from the Giants. Last years game was tough and we escaped with a win via a missed field goal. NY will let us know where we are in hte pecking order this year. Good luck to Manning but may he not have that much luck

Thems fighting words! Bring it on H!! Eli & Co are going to have a terrific season and actually win a playoff game this year (instead of choking like last year ). Surely you saw or read about their great comeback against the Eagles on Sunday. They were down 24-7 at one point!! Seattle should give them another good game but my Giants will prevail this time.

Who knows maybe we'll see a rematch of both of these teams for the NFC title game.

Branch is a great player. Sad to lose him.

Yes I like the Pats too. And unlike a lot of folks I can honestly say I've liked them for over 15 years... way before they became 3x Super Bowl champs!

Brady will turn things around. In a desperate situation at the end of the game down by 7 there's no QB I'd rather have in his place.

I'd love nothing more than a Giants/Pats Super Bowl. My two favorite teams... but you know who'd have to take the loss right?

I actually think we've got a far better chance of a Manning vs. Manning Super Bowl this year. That would be fun as well.

I have both Branch and Hasselback on my FFL team over at ESPN. I'm awaiting a good breakout game from both. I hope I get it soon. Not to mention Josh Brown (K) from the Seahawks...he's been making field goals regurlarly.

GO COWBOYS baby! Dad went to the Naval Academy with Roger Staubach,...was born and raised a Dallas Cowboy. As long as they can keep Terell from opening his big mouth, they ought to do okay.

It's like they didn't even bother to show up for the game.

Classy move Chad.

I won't brag because we should have lost last years game. We caugh Eli on a bad day and we were ready. Both playoff calibre teams for sure. I missed the live telecast but I have it on the DVR. I'll be rooting for the Giants for the rest of the year just like last year.

Seattle looked impressive that's for sure. At this point I'd say the NFC Championship game is them and Chicago. Hopefully my Giants will improve. I don't think their season is in jeopardy at this point but at the end of the day they're 1-2, not a great start despite playing two very good teams so far.

Neither the Giants or the Patriots are that good of teams this year.

That's the impression I am forced to come away with.

The Pats just haven't been the same since they lost both coaches Weis and Crennel and several good players to free agency. Brady is a good QB but he can't do it all by himself.

I'm not counting out the Giants. Last year they were ravaged by injuries to the linbacking corp and more and they were still in it come post season play. LeVar Arrington hasn't done much yet but I don't expect to see the Giants defense looking off kilter. Glad we got them early and at home rather than late in the season.

Also from reading the local papers it seems we unveiled new offense (4 WR set) and defensive wrinkles. I'm sure Chicago is going to see some new stuff as well. The Giants scouted the Seahawks vanilla offense and defensensive packages. The surprise was just good enough for us to utilize homefield advantage and run out to a quick lead. I don't think anyone will count out the Giant's ability to close the gap in the 4th qtr.

Chicago deserves some props, but I'm not 100 percent sold on them, especially on offense.

Especially when they almost lost to the Vikings (of which i'm a fan) lets not kid ourselfs the Vikings will be nowhere to be seen come 2nd round of the playoffs if they make it at all. I feel the Bears are "overly hyped" they are an OK team in a crap division.

Agreed.

In the end, it'll almost certainly be the AFC team winning in the Super Bowl again anyways.

It's just a matter of who gets lined up this time around.

It's getting better, but I still think the AFC side easily owns the NFC side when you start sizing up teams and divisions.
