Tony Scott's work can be easily debatable, some either love or hated.
His film stile influenced so many filmmakers (sadly also created Michael Bay) I wonder why his work is not celebrated more on Blu Ray. Beverly Hills Cop II (1987) was a bonafide blockbuster yet Paramount has no plans for a US BD. The Last Boy Scout (1991) deserves a proper stand alone BD. The Fan (1996) deserves a BD release (Please Sony do not give it Mill Creek, they will just bundle it with a lesser film!) Man On Fire (2004) deserves the special features that were stripped from the Collector's Edition, I think Ridley could talk to Fox about this. That's all for my little rant. ![]() |
