In this fantastic sequel, Chiba is sent to prison after being betrayed by a yakuza underboss. Once out, he looks to get his revenge in this exciting film directed by Buichi Saito (Lone Wolf And Cub: Baby Cart In Peril).

This terrific sequel opens with our hero in prison. Upon his release, he takes a bodyguard position at a nightclub ... and his new employer ends up being the one who had him imprisoned!

Sweet, looks like at least Samurai Reincarnation and Shogun's Shadow. Cliff brought most of these titles to the USA through Ronin/Adness, so it's nice to see these come full circle.

It's too bad there isn't a disc count mentioned. If the cover is representing different faces that would suggest there will be 7 films in the set.

Too bad GI Samurai isn't one of them. That one is a pretty distinctive looking role.

Looks like we'll probably be getting the key Chiba titles from Toei. Wonder if this includes Karate Bullfighter (and if they're able to get the US version included since that one definitely has film elements held by MGM).

G.I Samurai is with Toho and AFAIK Shout hasn't had any dealings with them.

Holy shit, what a set. Excited for ALL of these, but especially Samurai Reincarnation and The Fall of Ako Castle. Been waiting a long time for these!! This might be my number 1 release of the year.

Also, the art looks to be from Kung Fu Bob, which looks fantastic. Hopefully more sets happen and we get his work on those as well.

I am curious to see how many discs this will have. The Fall of Ako Castle is nearly 3 hours long.

Also two of these films are Kinji Fukasaku films, so it's a two for one special for me as we get some Chiba and some Fukasaku.
