Yeah, I can't say that the super deluxe is worth it, especially since the band is expected to go back out on tour soon (whenever Songs of Experience comes out). But this show is awesome; day one for me.

This isn't surprising. Look at the Über Deluxe box set of Achtung Baby, which when first released, carried the running joke of being priced so high only Bono could afford it...

They should be back on tour this fall I think, likely before SOE finds it's way to completion.

The section of the show from Every Breaking Waves to Streets is one of my favorite portions of any released U2 live show. Reworking Zooropa to address the world refugee situation was perfect.

U2 has done more than any other band on the planet to try to make the world a better place.

I'm not just going by what's on their website. It's been documented a ton online and in print.

This may be true... but it doesn't make up for the fact that the music they have produced over the past 20 years pales in comparison to the music they made prior to 1996. They should stop making music and just focus on saving the world.

A comment like this is made by people who don't listen to them. Songs of Innocence (their most recent album) has quite a few songs on it that you could take out and plug in on albums like War or Boy or October and it would be seamless

Yeah, it's too bad that wasn't a part of the show on the North American leg. Every Breaking Wave is beautiful though.

Short of saying something that will get me suspended, please please do some research before posting. This has absolutely nothing to do with the Paris attacks, aside form the fact that it also happens to be in Paris, and the concert and it's scheduled HBO broadcast was delayed because of those attacks.

Ummm, I do listen to them... and have bought all of their albums. Their song writing has gotten lazy and the musical ability just sounds boring. And Bono's voice and not what it used to be. They just need to stop already.

Or you could just stop listening.

Its a shame you feel that way but you couldn't be more wrong.

Condemning the ignorance of a post like his is probably worth the suspension, but I don't want one either.
