Just finished the Lost Symbol (SPOILERS)

And man am I disappointed. The the first 3/4 were fantastic, but what a friggen ANTI climactic ending. And could he have said Obelisk enough times? And good golly miss molly was the Noetic science parts boring as heck. Also, There was WAT to much product placement, IE the blackberries, Iphones and twitter.

I read this book a while back, don't remember it much. It still sits on my shelf though. I recall really enjoying the book, but not as much as Angels & Demons and The Da Vinci Code. For some reason, I really didn't like the parts where folks were killled. For example, (I hope my memory serves me correctly), when a lady is trapped and killed in the large water container. I forgot the details, but certain things like that bothered me for some reason. As good as the book was, I kinda felt it was the same as other Dan Brown books.

I enjoyed The Da Vinci Code, but didn't like Angels & Demons at all. The later two books were alright, but not as good as 'Code' was.

I seriously do not recall that book, it's been too long since I've read it. I'd have to read it again for my memory to come back. I do remember there being a Dan Brown book that I didn't like at all, all I remember from it was it took place in a cold setting, I think. Something was uncovered, and it was meant to be covered up in some kind of conspiracy, or it was also being hunted by somebody else. I believe it had something to do with a government coverup. I don't recall the details, it's been too long since I've read that book, but I remember disliking it.

I never actually read inferno. Lost Symbol put me off a lot. I may give it a chance sometime soon though.

I enjoyed Inferno. The ending truly surprised me.

[Show spoiler]Langdon and Sienna were rushing around trying to stop the release of the virus, but it turns out it was already released a week prior, which will lead to 1/3 of the world population becoming sterile. Pretty rough way to end a book!
