Aeon Flux (2005)

I saw Aeon Flux BluRay on the shelves for $9.99 the other day and since I had seen about 10 minutes of it before on STRZHD while getting ready for bed late one night, I thought I'd grab it.

After a few Tequila Sunrises we watched it and I must say, it is one the best Picture Quality flicks I think I have in my collection, like top 20.
The Audio is very good as well.

Chalize Theron is as hot as she has been to boot, great job by her to portray a very dynamic character based on a fast moving cartoon (MTV series).

The movie has a solid premise, in the "Apocalyptic Series" of movies of the future, this one has a solid clean futuristic city and not just a dirty "burn barrel" environment as per usual. The city does have dark secrets of course.

The sets and colors are MADE for BluRay and the sci-fi genre of this flick is very fantasy filled with new ideas and concepts.
Certainly not status quo.

The script is fine and the cast is very good. Some solid fight sequences and quite intense gun battles as well.
This Director/ Producer got every single penny out of this $62 million budget imo.

Anyways, just posting this for those who may be interested in a under rated BluRay flick I found at Best Buy for $9.99.
