Default Toshiba Australia cuts HD DVD prices

http://www.australianit.news.com.au/...-15306,00.html

How much?
"Its top-of-the-line HD XE1 has been slashed from $1299 to $599. Its mid-range HD EP10 has been chopped from $699 to $399 and the entry-level HD E1 has been cut from $399 to $299."

Wow!

Im Australian and i can tell you that you cannot just walk into a store and jsut pick up one of these things, sure its a bargin but you have to skulk around to find the bastard and when you do its on the internet. No one bought them back then and no one will buy them now even at that price. The only HDDVD players here were the addon.
