$5 Movie Cash (Two Different Kinds): Walmart "Blair Witch" DVD Horror Display

This display has two different types of movie cash, depending on the DVD(s) you buy.

- $5 e-movie cash, good toward any movie.
- $5 movie cash, good toward Shut In.

What this display does not have is anything relating to Blair Witch, except for one old DVD near the bottom of the display.

Yeah, I'm as baffled as you are.



This is on one of those 3 or 4-sided "islands" in the middle of Electronics.

Needless to say, the best value are the $3.74 movies and any of the $5 sets. I'm personally wondering about Riding the Bullet and the After Dark HorrorFest Set III. Can anyone share their thoughts on those? I have the 8-Movie collection with Chopping Mall, etc., and it's a fun set (and a cheap way to preview Chopping Mall if you're on the fence about the upcoming Blu-ray).

If there are ways to abuse this movie cash, please do not discuss it in this thread. I'm tired of having threads erased because people are idiots!!!

I picked up 2 of those $5 DVDs last Friday. Might get the Blair witch on DVD to get cash for the new one.

I saw this display the other day.

Interesting that it has movie cash for Shut In.....considering that movie isn't suppose to be in theaters until November 11th. So it seems kind of early for movie cash for that one already.

I haven't seen Riding the Bullet in a while, but I remember it being pretty good. It's worth $3.74.

You're right. For some reason, I thought that was this movie (Don't Breathe), which comes out on Friday.

I haven't seen Riding the Bullet in a while, but I remember it being pretty good. It's worth $3.74.

Also saw this, not pictured above. It's where the first Leprechaun set is in the picture. (BTW, it looks like there are only 2 Leprechaun sets, not 3, in anyone was going crazy looking for the "third.")



I believe it's $5 and comes with Shut In movie cash. Just added it to the OP.

I also picked up the 2 disc special edition of The Fly remake with $5 cash for Shut in.

That Chopping Mall, etc. set is great. I have it already or I would've jumped on it.

The Fly is one of my all-time childhood favorites. Alas, I already own the Blu-ray.

Anyone be advised buying the $5 cash good for anything. The stickers are on the case it's self and not the plastic wrap.

Even the Shut In cash? Seems especially odd to offer cash for a movie that doesn't have a trailer yet (as you pointed out).

No, just the ones good for anything. Shut In is on the plastic and comes off. But yeah, that is odd. Never heard of the movie till I saw the MM for it. it's suppose to be out in November it says on Google.

Does the Devil's Rejects still have both discs? I thought I read somewhere that Lionsgate doesn't include the second disc anymore with the extra features. I hate when studios do that.

I today picked up Sinister for $5. It also came with the $5 Movie Cash too! So the movie was really free when I look at it.
