Default sony BD player firmware also for europe?
hi

I have a BDP-S300 firmware 2.60 bought in the Netherlands
acoording to Sony europe there is no new firmware.

i can download the latest US firmware. But Blu-ray has a nasty property which HD does not have: region coding. So i am a bit afraid maybe the firmware is not interchangable for the same unit type but from a different region code?

any one ideas?
