Awesome news. I, too, wonder how Kino pulled off this deal.

I still have yet to see this film (I recorded it a couple of weeks ago on my DVR), but I admire Billy Wilder's films, so I will definitely pick this up.

Wow! Kino Classics is about to kick the door in. They seemed a bit sluggish there for awhile. Not anymore.

As much as I'd love to get this, no subtitles no sale. Hopefully one of the good UK companies gets it and then I'll import it.

This really caught me by surprise. First off, I was sure that TT already snagged this one. Secondly, Kino signing a deal with MGM. Great news all around!

One of my favorite things about this movie was the banter between Laughton and Lanchester. The bickering works well because everybody (at least at the time the film was released, I assume) knew they had been happily married for ages.

YES! This made my week. I've been asking for this movie for years. I saw the digital HD version a little while back, and I thought it looked great.

First time in Blu? I'm in. Billy Wilder may turn out to be the first director where I have all of his films.

He is my favorite, but it would still be a bit of an accident, because I don't "collect" that way.

But it's gradually happening as they come out.
