So this movie was just OK... Thats all it was. However, I am a huge Kevin Bacon fan and I would love to see this on blu. Correct me if I am wrong but this is a Fox release right? Why did they not release it on Blu with the standard DVD version?

im a kevin bacon fan plus i loved deathwish so i would love to see this movie on blu ray. As for why Fox has'nt set a date for blu release im not sure how well it did at the box office so if it was'nt a huge hit they might be slow to release plus i think they are working on getting there block busters out first then going back over there other stuff.

Nah this movie was laughable...especially the 2nd half.

The german distributor Concorde will release the Kevin Bacon Movie "Death Sentence" here in Germany.

I don`t have all the specs so far but this:

Aspect ratio: 2.35:1

Audio:

DTS HD 5.1 german
DTS HD 5.1 english

running time: 111 minutes

It's basically a Death Wish remake starring Kevin Bacon.

I remember seeing promos for this. It lasted about 5 minutes at the theaters. They should have considered direct to disc. I imagine the money loss on this film was tremendous.

I loved that movie, but then again I loved the original Death Wish series as well. Can't wait for it to come out here in the US

I thought it was well exectuted thruought the film.... Until the very end. Then the film just fell apart. Great action though! Kevin Bacon is amazing

im buying this for sure im a big death wish fan (i enjoyed the brave one 2) not looking forward to paying the import price for it though but , gotta support my man bacon.

I loved this movie and I could have sworn I saw a blu-ray pic of it. I mean, I don't see it in the coming soon section of the site.

The movie comes out on dvd this tuesday in a couple days. I was really hoping we got this!

i believe fox is the distributor, but i have not heard anything of this coming to blu, i am kinda mad, cause this movie looks good, guess i am going to have to watch it on regular ol' dvd

I saw it when it was released and liked it very much. It's a good revenge flick. And yes it was distributed by Fox, so it is coming to Blu.

Actually, it is officially coming out on Blu-ray on January 21st in the UK. I'm pretty sure a US release is also imminent.

I'm sure we will hear an announcement next week if FOX plans on releasing it. We will all find out over the next 4 days
