Default Can I swap Blu-rays at Walmart?

I bought 2 Blus on Amazon and i wanted to know if i can take them (they are unopened) and swap them out for different ones or get the same price and get regular dvds (for non-HD people).?

You should return them to Amazon.

That's a great question. I got a few dupe's as well for xmas and need to do the same thing. Will be a real pain to try to track down the people who got them for me and then send them back to amazon. Would be way easier if Walmart/BB/CC would take them.

Anyone try that yet?

Might as well try it. Aren't there like 3 Wal-Marts per square mile?

And if anyone says it's unethical tell them to shove it. Wal-Mart stopped being ethical a loooooooooooooooong time ago.

The ethical thing woudl be to return them to where they were purchased. With the holiday season I believe most retailers would take the movies back as long as they are unopened and let you change out for another movie.

Yes, as long as they aren't opened just bring them to any retailer that sells blu-ray and you can exchange them. Just tell them they were x-mas gifts.

Dude relax all he is doing is exchanging one blu title for another. For the record I HATE WAL-MART as much as you do. But my ethics are more valuable to me then Wal-Mart or a disc. But sure try exchanging them at any retail store as long as they are not opened.

They can be returned unopened. Just make sure you have an ID with you since you don't have a receipt.

If no one is looking, then I don't see why not.

If Wal-Mart doesn't work out I was able to swap some at Best Buy on the 26th. They will track your ID number though.

Circuit City is a good place to make exchanges for store credit without a receipt.

If you're doing just an exchange you should be able to take it to whatever retailer you want that sells the same product. It's only when you're returning items for money that retailers are a bit more guarded.

Your good as long as its sealed. I just did it today at Best Buy. No hassel and no questions asked as long as its still sealed. I had and extra POTC at WE from Amazon. Exchanged it straight across for The Host.

I did this recently at Walmart. They took my driver's liscense and plugged in my ID #. Do they track whenever someone does that? So if I were to do it again, could I get in trouble?
