I've never heard of this one before but 100% seems like something I'd be interested in.

Sony releasing titles like this, Young Guns II and True Romance bodes well for other Morgan Creek titles like Pacific Heights and White Sands.

So keep bringing 'em, Sony!

Yeah, what's the deal with that? For as long as I can remember, stuff like Freejack and Young Guns II have always been distributed by Warner. Do Morgan Creek titles reside with Sony now?

Me too. Grade A trashy awesomeness. You know any movie where someone at the studio said - "You know who'd be great in this? Mick. Jagger." and another exec said "Bullseye." is gonna be pure gold.

Nice. The dvd's pretty old from the early 2000s and so this should be a nice upgrade if it's not from that master.

Absolutely love this film. Just can't beat that cast. Very happy this is getting a Blu-ray release, finally.

I believe Morgan Creek left Warners a while back. Shout picked up some titles (Exorcist III, Bad Moon, and a few others), and I guess Sony's now gotten their hands on a few, too.

This came out the same year as The Mighty Ducks also, who knew that one would put Emilio back in the spotlight again. Better film as well.

This is the very last cardboard Warner style DVD case thing on my shelves. Will be VERY happy to replace it!

Oh this movie lol. Absolutely hated it after I saw it theatrically. Then much later on, I got it on DVD and its fun to watch and laugh at, not quite in the 'so bad its good' kind of way, because it is made well enough and is enjoyable enough now that the scope of it is known and my expectations are calibrated. I'll probably pick this up and still enjoy it.

Young Guns 2 doesn't hold up for me anymore, and its funny because that one was the one that was so amazing during its time that me and my girlfriend at the time saw it more than once. Same with true romance (and a lot of other Christian Slater ones that don't quite hold up past nostalgic recollections).

Kuffs is still pretty awesome, that's one Christian Slater film I've been waiting for (well, that and Pump Up the Volume).

Yep, I love Kuffs, although that may have a lot to do with the Harold Faltermeyer score. Pump Up the Volume would be amazing, too. I'll even take Gleaming the Cube... I guess.

Whatever happened at Sony, this is really getting to be exciting. They went from the ridiculous BD-Rs to a run of pressed catalog announcements. The Principal? Young Guns II? Freejack? I don't even know why I'm excited for Freejack, but I'm getting it. I think I saw it once and didn't like it that much... but I loved the trailer!

If you lived in the early 90s then you would remember how much this film got crapped on by critics and the media. I saw it once but I can't remember anything about it. Could pick it up for the right price.

I watched both back to back last year and I bought they both did, and they are surprisingly accurate

I know it already has a release but the Slater film I'm waiting for is a new, remastered, special edition (even better-- 4k) version of TRUE ROMANCE...

the current version is poor, like a lot of the early WB blu ray releases (Under Siege, Robin Hood Prince Of Thieves, Out For Justice, etc etc)

I’d pick up Kuffs & Pump Up The Volume, both underrated gems
