First of all, yes I'm aware there is the North American Blu-ray release from Twilight Time. I'm starting this Wish List thread for a UK release with expanded-on extras (I don't think the Twilight Time release is barebones, but I don't believe it has any interview extras, and from what I've read about Chilly Scenes of Winter, it's a very good-sounding film (I do quite like films and television series which have a wintry setting or/and are shot on-location with wintry weather).
I'd rather get a copy of the Twilight Time release if there is no realistic chance of Chilly Scenes of Winter getting a UK release. |

This isn't an example of dithering, but I might hold out on getting the Twilight Time release. What is the current status of the potential takeover of MGM by Amazon? If it has been approved, any licensing deals made before the takeover would be unaffected? Ideally, a boutique label in another country (the UK for example) licenses Chilly Scenes of Winter, and among the expanded extras are both the happy and sad endings and interviews with surviving cast and crewmembers.
