I bought the Sony bdp-s300 and also have a new panasonic plasma 1080p tv. When I'm in the stores and see the displays they have out of blu-ray players, the movies look 3d like and have an unbeliveable quality to them. At home mine look good but not great. I am using the HDMI cable and have the bdp setup to output auto which uses the tv max 1080p/60. I have tried different settings but it still doesn't look as good. The only movies I have so far are spiderman3, 300 and Underworld.
I do notice that the stores have a sony bd player connected to a sony tv and also a samsung player to a samsung tv. Is that why there is such a difference in picture quality or do the stores have the tv's cranked all the way up in brightness, color etc? Thanks, |
